Each level of each test type has a top score of 10 points. Every time you do a test the server will check if your new score is better than older scores you have on this level, and if so you will have increased you hiscore sum with the difference.
The Hiscore sum is the sum of all your hiscores. At this time it is possible to reach a maximum hiscores sum of 2500.

The weekly hiscore is the sum of the test results you have gotten this week. The list is erased at midnight GMT (London time) every Sunday. You'll still have your alltime hiscores, but the list of top users tht is generated on Sunday night is used as the basis for Earlympic points.
The Hiscores page with the weekly hiscores shows username and date, which means that teachers can ask students to print out this page as a homework assignment to document what's been done this week.
